As a leader in marine engineering, ES Denizcilik has expanded its marine fleet and increased its dredging capacity to 1,000 m³ per hour. The company continues to advance its marine construction endeavors, including the completion of 1 million m³ of sea fill and stone fortifications on the Petkim Peninsula for the Star Refinery Sea Terminal (Liquid Cargo Port) Construction Works. Additionally, 67,000 m³ of seabed dredging and 500,000 m³ of terrace and slope excavation were successfully executed as part of this project. In 2018, ES Denizcilik successfully completed the Petkim Container Backyard and Breakwater Construction in İzmir Aliağa, delivering the Aegean Region’s largest integrated port with a handling capacity of 4.5 million TEU. This Project involved removing 6.2 million m³ of excavation material and filling the sea with 3 million m³ of fill material. The project, undertaken for APM Terminals, included dismantling the existing breakwater and constructing a new 330-meterlong breakwater with 2.5 million tons of fill. ES Denizcilik also conducted infrastructure works and 1.1 million m³ of seabed dredging in the 440,000 m² back area.

In 2022, ES Denizcilik completed the COFOT (Crude Oil & Fuel Oil Tanks) Construction and Mechanical Works Projects for SOCAR with a record of 3 million man-hours without lost time injuries. 

The Kanuni Dredger Vessel, which dredged 2,000,000 m³ of seabed for the Petkim Container Port project for APM Terminals, performed rock breaking and dredging in materials with a hardness of 150 MPa. Equipped with a 190-ton digger excavator and a 6 m³ bucket capacity, Kanuni can dredge the seabed to a depth of -21 meters. In the Star Refinery projects, 67,000 m³ of seabed dredging was also successfully carried out.
