Renewable Energy
In line with our sustainability approach, we prioritize the use of renewable energy across our factories and business centers. By generating clean energy through solar panels installed on the rooftops of our facilities, we reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and significantly lower carbon emissions. Our solar energy systems supply a portion of our operational energy demand, thereby enhancing energy efficiency while fostering an environmentally responsible and sustainable working environment
SPP Performance and Environmental Impact Analysis
Implemented in line with ES Denizcilik’s renewable energy and sustainability objectives, the Menemen Solar Power Plant (SPP) has made a meaningful contribution to reducing environmental impacts and enhancing energy efficiency.
The Menemen SPP consists of 260 solar panels, each with a capacity of 460 Wp, resulting in a total installed capacity of 110 kWp. Throughout 2025, the facility generated 70.93 MWh of clean and renewable electricity. All generated energy was consumed on-site, reducing reliance on external energy sources and improving operational efficiency.
Thanks to solar generation, approximately 40% of the facility’s total annual electricity consumption was supplied by renewable energy sources. This represents a significant achievement in reducing fossil fuel dependency and lowering the corporate carbon footprint.
Key 2025 Performance Indicators of the Menemen SPP:
- Approximately 28.37 tonnes of standard coal consumption avoided
- 33.69 tonnes of CO₂ emissions prevented
- 47 trees planted for carbon offsetting purposes
These results demonstrate that ES Denizcilik’s sustainability approach extends beyond strategic commitments, being firmly supported by quantifiable, reportable, and tangible environmental gains.
As ES Denizcilik, we continue to strengthen our pioneering position in marine construction through strategic renewable energy investments, delivering projects that are environmentally responsible, energy-efficient, and create long-term value for the future.
